BOTTLE TILES
These tiles are made from stoneware clay and are to be hung on the wall. They come from drawings of different shaped bottles with different mark making. These drawings are then made into tiles.
These pieces are made by commission only.

INSPIRATION AND WORKINGS
Glass bottles found in shed in Cornwall
This was the inspiration of this collection. I found these old bottles in a shed on a walk in Cornwall in 2015. I love the fact that they are totally disregarded and have cobwebs on them, some are upright, others not. The different colours, shapes and marks.
Some of the paper bottles for the collages
Here are some of the paper bottles with different mark making on them. I choose different shapes and then make different marks on these. This work is quick, spontaneous and intutitive.
